Hi Fellows!

We hope you are all enjoying the beginning of fall – where did the summer go?  And we hope life is treating you well and you are remembering to take care of yourself in renewing and sustaining ways.

Now we could really use your help.  It’s that time of year again!

We have begun to plan the 2009 Trailblazers program and we will again be inviting leaders or influencers in the field of youth work to apply for this round of the fellowship.   Only those invited to apply, may apply.

So this is where you come in: we need your Trailblazer recommendations.

Here is what we are looking for.  We want youth workers who are leaders or influencers in the field of youth work.  This could mean someone who is an Executive Director or Program Director within their organization or it could be a state leader or director or it could be someone who leads a coalition of youth workers.  We are again hoping that the Trailblazers in 2009 will be a voice for improving the field of youth work in renewing and sustaining ways. We are hoping by working with this group of fellows that their will be a greater chance for organizational change because we will be working with people who have leadership responsibilities for their organization or the ability to influence groups of youth workers.  And of course, we are looking for people who are "ready, willing and able" to take advantage of a Journey experience.

Please send your top 5 recommendations to us by November 1st. We need all their contact information including mailing address, title, organization, phone and email addresses.
