We will be meeting at 6:30 PM for dinner at The Lodge at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church (100 West 86th Street, Indianapolis, 46260). Jason Wyman of the Youth Development Peer Network in San Francisco, CA. will be joining us for dinner This is an opportunity to hear how a similar group of big thinkers are impacting the field of youth development on the West coast. Jason will also be our host when we travel to California in June.
Janet is opening her home to out-of-town Navigators who need a place to stay. She can take care of 4 of you comfortably and we may need another Indianapolis Navigator to volunteer to open their home for one person. Let us know if you need a place to stay on Thursday evening and we’ll get the arrangements made for you.
Friday, February 27
We will begin at 8:30am with breakfast and then move into our working session agenda. Our working session will take place in The Lodge at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church (100 West 86th Street, Indianapolis, 46260) Along with Jason Wyman, we’ve invited Judy Burnett to have lunch with the group to offer guidance in thinking about your next steps. Judy is an entrepreneur and owner of Judy Burnett Solutions – a marketing and public relations firm in the city. We are excited about adding your extended team members to this line-up. It should make for a dynamic day!
I need to know who your group is inviting to this working session. Please provide name, organization, phone and email address of each extended team member, along with when they’ll be with us (i.e. full day, after lunch, leaving before lunch, etc.) We recommend your invited team members come for the morning and stay through lunch if possible. Janet has made contact with IYI staff and hopefully we will have a IYI staff member for each team.
We hope each of you talk with the people you are inviting to explain the purpose of this working meeting and help them understand the nature of the efforts we are taking on.
We are excited to be back together again to move this important work forward. If you have anything in writing that you would like for us to run off, please get it to us early next week and don’t forget to get us the names of the people you have invited.
See you sooooonnn
Courtney
